Emerald Agricultural College
Emerald Agricultural College offers over sixty courses from half day workshops through to full time residential diplomas. The range of courses is very comprehensive, encompassing all aspects of agriculture, horticulture and agribusiness. For a comprehensive list of course options visit the College's website.
Following are the main areas of training offered:
- Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Agriculture (Beef Cattle Production)
- Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Agriculture (Cotton Production)
- Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Agriculture (Horse Breeding)
- Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Agriculture (General Agriculture) and
- Diploma in Horticulture (Production)
- A number of short courses.
It should be noted that courses at the Certificate level are highly practical and hands on, whereas the Diploma level courses are management focused.
Longreach Pastoral College
Longreach Pastoral College offers a range of training courses to prepare the student for work in the Agricultural industries particularly in wool and beef cattle. A full description of the courses available can be accessed via the colleges website.
